A Delectable 10th ApacCHRIE Pilipinas 2012 Conference Update!

The University of Santo Tomas College of Tourism and Hospitality Management takes pride in hosting the 10th APacCHRIE Pilipinas 2012 Conference with its opportune date on June 05 - 08, 2012 with the theme "Building Bridges, Creating Opportunities" at the Diamond Hotel, Roxas Boulevard, Manila, Philippines.  The conference is going to be an avenue for exchanging information and ideas, conducting research presentations, and promoting products and services related to education, training and resource development for the hospitality and tourism industry.

We are also having the Youth Conference with the theme, "Opportunities in Asia-Pacific for Tourism and Hospitality Students (OATHS)."  Seminars, team building activities, and various exposures await the participants.

APacCHRIE 2012

The Asia Pacific Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (APac CHRIE) was organized in 2002 under the dynamic leadership  of  Prof. Kaye Chon PhD , the  Dean of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  To date, the Council has approximately 91 members who are hospitality educators, researchers, industry practitioners, and post-graduate students in the Asia Pacific Region.  The Association serves as a marketplace for facilitating exchanges of information, ideas, researches, products and services related to education, training and resource development for the hospitality and tourism industry.
